The next Truffle Making 101 Workshop takes place on Sunday, November 3rd from 10:30 to noon, in our Georgetown Tasting Space. The 2.5 hour workshop starts at 10:30 AM. Advance tickets are required. This workshop sells out fast. Reserve your space today!

Our hands-on Chocolate Workshop provides a marvelous way to spend a Sunday morning among friends! Even culinary novices will leave with a full understanding of where chocolate comes from and where it’s going. Learn to make show-stopping truffles filled with things like seasonal fruit ganache to chocolate peanut butter!

It’s surprisingly easy once you understand a few essentials, plus a few secrets from our Chocolatier-in-Residence, Meg Murray of Thunder Pig Confectionery.

Here are some of the fun things included in your Workshop:

You will leave the Truffle Making 101 Workshop with a box of truffles you made yourself (that you can indulge in later, or show off to your friends and family), along with the recipes so you can make them again at home!

Meg Murray

About Our Chocolatier-in-Residence
Meg Murray, this month’s Chocolatier-in-Residence, is the owner and chef of Thunder Pig Confectionery that specializes in artisan confections and baked goods made from the finest sweet things out there (especially chocolate!). She hand-crafts delectable caramels, chocolates, biscotti, brittle, tarts, cakes, and other sweet treats from her commercial kitchen space at DC’s Union Kitchen. Meg is a graduate of L’Academie de Cuisine in Pastry Arts, and a resident of DC. She loves the city as much as Thunder Pig loves a caramel…which is a lot. September’s Chocolate Workshop participants are going to learn an awful lot from Meg about how to make awesome chocolates.
