DC Metro Chocolate Tours began in 2010 when Boston Chocolate Tours & TeamBonding Founder David Goldstein created a way to be closer to his daughter who was going to college here, as well as feed his cocoa passion and share what he discovered with others. Needless to say, his daughter graduated and he has passed on the running of the company to an expert team of Washingtonians who may love chocolate even more than he does…

Bonnie ‘Coco’ Sigwalt, Chief Chocolate Taster  Bonnie’s passion for sustainable agriculture helps her seek out cocoa growers and producers that make amazing chocolate that not only tastes good, but environmentally friendly. Bonnie started out her chocolate tasting career at the age of four when she discovered her first Cadbury Creme Egg. She has lived in DC for over a decade, is a graduate of Smith College, an MBA Candidate at Marlboro College, and a US Army veteran. favorite: raw cacao nibs

Deirdre, Tour Guide  Before becoming a DC historical guide, Deirdre worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years and has a strong passion for food. She thinks the best way to get to know an area is through the local dining options. When DC Chocolate Tours came along it was a match made in heaven. favorite:
